Features
Local Encrypted App Data
Ghostli encrypts saved app data locally using a password-derived key. Your chat sessions and settings are stored on your device instead of being presented as a public cloud history.
Token-Based Access
Login uses an 8-digit access token and a device ID, not a traditional account password. The API stores hashed tokens, package type, usage counters, and active-device state for access control.
Developer-Focused Models
Choose between G-Basic, G-Max, Grok, and G-Agent for Live Code. The app is built around coding, debugging, code review, prompt improvement, and project-aware answers.
Repository Context
Select a project folder so Ghostli can index relevant files, summarize the repository, and ground answers in the codebase you choose to provide.
Terminal Integration
When enabled, Ghostli can run commands through the desktop app, read command output, and continue from the results. Terminal access is controlled from app settings.
Live Code Workflow
Live Code lets Ghostli read, edit, patch, and test selected workspace files, with tool output used as the source of truth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Ghostli is a privacy-first AI assistant built for developers. It uses token-based access, local encrypted storage for app data, and a desktop workflow with Live Code, Repository Context, terminal integration, and CBE research tools.
You sign in with an 8-digit access token instead of creating a traditional username/password account. The token is checked against hashed server records, and device state is tracked so plan limits and simultaneous-device rules can work.
The desktop app encrypts saved Ghostli app data locally with Web Crypto and a password-derived key. This protects stored sessions and settings on your device. Requests that you send to AI providers still have to be processed as AI requests, so the landing page does not promise that servers never process message content.
Ghostli offers multiple model choices in the client: G-Basic, G-Max, and Grok. Live Code and workspace modes use G-Agent behavior for tool-based code work.
Tokens are the unit used to estimate and limit AI usage. Basic includes 120,000 tokens per day, Pro includes 300,000 tokens per day, Unlimited includes 1,000,000 tokens per day, and the Free plan includes 10,000 tokens per 3-day window.
The current desktop app is built with Electron and includes Windows/Linux-oriented shell support in the codebase. Android/mobile work exists separately, but this landing page focuses on the desktop developer workflow.
Ghostli is designed so you choose what project files are added through Live Code or Repository Context. Saved app data is encrypted locally, API logs redact sensitive content fields, and file access is scoped through the selected workspace tools. Do not paste or connect code you are not allowed to share with an AI service.
Paid plans are shown as monthly access plans. Token delivery and payment status depend on the checkout flow and payment provider used for the purchase.

Built for Control

Local encrypted app data. Token access. Workspace context only when you choose it.

Private enough for serious work. Honest enough to trust.
